I think I saw a guy who goes by "TUROK" who shows you what the problem is with the 3-speed transmission on the USA 1. He used white lithium grease on the needle bearing to clean them then he also used oil on the cam fingers of the transmission.
I use the same engine in my USA-1. I love it. I'm also using the steel gears for the 3-speed transmission which come from GTB racing. They are awesome. Did you use the original .25 Kyosho engine? I'm wondering how it Compares with the OS .30VG.
Hi! I was wondering about the GTB racing 3 speed transmission myself. I will try to purchase it next time. The original engine is unused, I'm thinking of putting it in a Mad Force or Inferno next time.😄
@@m-shi definitely get the GTB racing steel gears, and their steel clutch bell. My original Kyosho gears got stripped on the inside and would not shift anymore. Once I switched to the GTB racing steel gears the thing has been awesome.
@@m-shi good. The GTB racing clutch bell comes with ball bearings. But I use the original Kyosho needle-bearings instead. You should also upgrade to the Kyosho INFERNO Differential Cups, front and rear. Kyosho Part IF103
